Sensei Dan Dixon, born May, 30th 1970, is the owner and head instructor of Impact Fitness and Martial Arts. He began weight training at the age of 13 and competed in amature bodybuilding competitions in his late teens and early twenties. He Studied Physical Education at Glassboro State College. In 2001, at the age of 31 he began training in and competing in Judo. In 2005, he discovered Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and began training and competing immediately. In September of 2009, Sensei Dixon earned his Blackbelt in Judo.

Sensei Dixon is currently a certified personal trainer, a Second Degree Blackbelt in Judo, and a Brown Belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. He is also a certified Judo Instructor with the United States Judo Association. He received his blue belt in BJJ from Professor Luiz Palharez in 2006 and most recently tested for and received his Brown Belt in May of 2010 from Professor Palhares.  We are honored to be a part of Professor Palhares Jiu Jitsu association.

Although Sensei Dixon has been extremely successful personally in competition, he finds it very rewarding helping his students achieve their own goals.

There is no other club anywhere in the area that has even close to the same level of success as Millville BJJ has had. In less than three years our club has accumulated the following:

5 NAGA World Champions
30 NAGA and Grapplers Quest Gold Medals
Multiple NAGA and Grapplers Quest North American Champions
Over 100 Competition Medals!!!

Our small team has placed 10th, 9th, 5th and 4th in recent NAGA events. This was accomplished by an individual team which is almost unheard of. There is NO other team in the area who even approaches these results.

The reason we mention this is because lots of intstructors and teams do a lot of talking, but only one team has the results in competition to prove that our training system and instruction is the very best you will find in the area.

Below is Sensei Dixon's personal competition record:
2008 Diamond State Games 2nd Place Brown Belt absolute Division
2008 Battle at the Beach 3rd place Brown/Black Division
