Mixed Martial Arts is a unique style of martial arts designed to be used in a competitive environment also known as "Cage Fighting". Most people who train in Mixed Martial Arts however, have no intention of ever stepping into a cage to fight someone. Many people find enjoyment from the multifaceted techniques you must learn to be a mixed martial artist. Many people enjoy the conditioning workouts that MMA fighters engage in.
Some schools teach BJJ class and then a Muay Thai class separately and call that their MMA program. MMA is much more than BJJ on the ground and Muay Thai on the feet. It is a unique set of skills that not only mesh multiple disciplines together but also has evolved it's own techniques and strategies unique to the sport.
Our MMA conditioning class is Tuesday and Thursday from 7-7:45pm. It is a workout you will not forget. MMA class itself starts at 7:45-9pm. In it you will learn boxing, muay thai, wrestling and BJJ, but in a form that transforms these arts into an integrated system that all works together.

We have a good bunch of guys training MMA. Some are fighters. Some are younger guys just learning the sport. Some are older and just enjoy the intense workout. The point is, MMA training is beneficial to anyone no matter what age. It is a fun way to get in shape while learning a valuable way to defend yourself.
